Pa Adebayo Faleti ,veteran actor,journalist ,poet and writer is dead.

 

 

He died on the 22nd of July 2017 at the University Teaching Hospital, Ibadan. Pa Adebayo Faleti  was known to be the pioneer broadcaster and TV exponent of the first Television Station in Africa. He was responsible for translating Nigeria's National Anthem from English to Yoruba.

 

He also translated lots of speeches being made by important political personalities. He published a dictionary containing the formal or official use of Yoruba names.Baba Adebayo Faleti was well known for the propagation of the use of Yoruba language ,showing the beauty and importance of Yoruba proverbial(witty)  sayings. He would be greatly missed.

Popular Yoruba actor, Odunlade Adekola has built a multi million hotel in Abeokuta Ogun state,his hometown.Adekola started this project like a year ago. According to him the hotel will be officially opened in two weeks.

Odunlade Adekola who has featured in over 100 movies is happily married to his wife Ruth and they have three kids together.
